Fantasy Tip: Bowe should receive more targets under head coach Andy Reid but likely will not be a top fantasy wide receiver. He should be viewed as a solid No. 2 wide receiver option. Sat, 20 Apr 2013 09:58:30 -0700 Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe said he likes the offense that head coach Andy Reid has brought to the team. "Throwing the ball deep, that's something we haven't done in the past so I'm excited right now. The play calling is totally different from last year. It's not check downs or putting it in the running back's hands. This guy likes to go down the field, take the top off (the defense) and that's something we haven't done in the past, put up a lot of points. This season he said we're going to blow out the scoreboard and that's something I'm looking forward to," Bowe said.

Fantasy Tip: Bowe will be working with a new head coach in Andy Reid and a new quarterback in Alex Smith next season, which could affect his fantasy value. Bowe could be a more consistent receiver with Smith throwing to him and his receptions may increase in Reid's West Coast offense but may not be involved in many big plays. Owners in point-per-reception leagues could consider Bowe a solid No. 2 receiver next season while owners in standard scoring leagues should see Bowe as a No. 3 receiver.
