Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent DT Brandon Mebane said does not think he is in the team's plans for the future because the two sides did not talk about specific numbers when discussing a new contract. He also believes the third-round tender he received is another indication that he is not in their plans. "I feel like I wasn't in their plans. And I feel like I have that right to think that because I got a third-round tender. If they really wanted me, they had plenty of time to do what they had to do. Me personally, from my experience, I don't think I was in their plans. I would love to come back here, but I don't know what their plans are," Mebane said.

"He worked out, had just about a full workout today (Monday)," head coach Pete Carroll said, "which is the best sign that we've seen of him. I think he's really perked up about it. He feels like he's on his way back now. We're expecting him to practice on Wednesday, and be in there full speed. He did practice a little bit last week, but wasn't quite over the hump yet so we think this will show up Wednesday, and we've just got to make sure and take care of him during the week."
