|Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch likely to be limited|
Fri, 28 Aug 2015 12:27:34 -0700
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch probably will be limited to a few carries if he plays in the third preseason game Saturday, Aug. 29. Head coach Pete Carroll would not say if Lynch will see any playing time during the game.
Fantasy Tip: Lynch does not see a lot of work in the preseason because of his physical style of play but should be ready when the season starts. Lynch likely will be selected in one of the first two rounds in most leagues this season.

|Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch a TD machine|
Sat, 11 Jul 2015 20:46:04 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lynch is a rare workhorse back in the NFL these days. He is a first-round pick in any format and one the safest bets to produce RB1 numbers.

|Seahawks | Christine Michael's time to shine?|
Thu, 04 Jun 2015 20:09:05 -0700
Seattle Seahawks RB Christine Michael will handle a bulk of the running back duties during the offseason with RB Marshawn Lynch and RB Robert Turbin (hip) expected to see little playing time prior to the regular season. "This is his time," head coach Pete Carroll said. "So we're going to push him in that regard and try to match up with his expectations. He wants to be a front-line back and he has tremendous talent. We'll see how it goes."
Fantasy Tip: Michael has flashed his upside during the preseason in previous years, but he hasn't seen much action in games that matter. He could be worth snatching up late in keeper leagues, but he won't have any real value in 2015 unless Lynch misses time.

Tue, 26 May 2015 19:09:47 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lynch does not need to participate in the offseason workouts and should be ready for the start of training camp. Lynch has been very consistent over the last four years and should be a first-round option in most leagues next season.

|Redskins | Matt Jones the future in Washington?|
Sat, 09 May 2015 19:12:34 -0700
Washington Redskins RB Matt Jones was compared to Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch by general manager Scot McCloughan because of his love of contact and downhill running style. McCloughan also said he expects Jones' snaps to increase in December and January.
Fantasy Tip: McCloughan's comments seem to contradict Jay Gruden's comments that Alfred Morris' workload won't be impacted by Jones. It sounds like Jones could end up having a bigger role as the year goes on, and with Morris' contract up after 2015, Jones could be the back of the future for the Redskins. For now, Morris' owners should consider securing Jones later in drafts as an insurance policy.

|Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch agrees to new deal|

Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has agreed to one-year, $11 million contract with the Seahawks, according to a source. Lynch will receive a $1 million base salary, a $9 million signing bonus and a $1 million roster bonus.
Fantasy Tip: Lynch should continue to be a terrific fantasy running back next season since he will be staying with the Seahawks. He has rushed for at least 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns in each of the last four seasons. Lynch likely will be selected in the first round of most fantasy drafts.

Fantasy Tip: It looks like Lynch will play next season, but for which team is still to be determined. Lynch has played well for the Seahawks over the last several seasons and should be a first-round pick in fantasy drafts if he stays with Seattle.

Fri, 06 Mar 2015 13:39:31 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has decided to continue his playing career and has reached an agreement on a new deal with the Seahawks, according to a source. Terms of the new contract were not disclosed.
Fantasy Tip: Lynch finished the season with 1,306 rushing yards, which ranked fourth in the NFL and was tied for the league lead with 13 touchdowns. Lynch should continue to be one of the top running backs in fantasy and should be selected in the first round.

|Seahawks | Marshawn Lynch: I wanted the football|
Mon, 02 Mar 2015 04:33:12 -0800
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch said he wanted the ball on the goal line in the Super Bowl on the play that saw QB Russell Wilson throw the game-ending interception in the end zone. Lynch previously told reporters that he didn't mind and that it was a team game.
Fantasy Tip: Maybe he had a month to think it over? Why Lynch would talk to a Turkish TV station is another story, but given Lynch's rocky media history it makes sense. Lynch is a solid RB1 in all fantasy leagues if he does not retire.
