He leads the team in catches (23) and is second in the NFC with 409 yards receiving. Rice catches extra passes after every practice, often in odd positions to help improve his hand-eye coordination. He also soaks in a cold tub every day to help his legs recover - he soaked in a tub just once last year. Rice stretches more, too, in order to help his flexibility.

"I do notice that it is a receiver's third year when they do start to blossom," Rice said. Head coach Brad Childress said, "[It's] because we are using other bodies elsewhere. But if you ever get in a position where you need to use him at least he's been back there and settled under them. Everybody has to do a lot of things. They can't just do what they want to do all the time. Nothing is below their pay grade."

Among the wide receivers that have been participating are Denver Broncos WR Brandon Marshall, Buffalo Bills WR Lee Evans, Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Michael Clayton, Minnesota Vikings WR Sidney Rice and Cleveland Browns WR Brian Robiskie. Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall, New Orleans Saints CB Malcolm Jenkins, Pittsburgh Steelers TE Matt Spaeth, Arizona Cardinals TE Dominique Byrd and St. Louis Rams LB James Laurinaitis also are attending the camp. Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo may attend the camp next week.
