The Atlanta Falcons expect OT Sam Baker to play like he did prior to the 2011 season when he struggled with injuries and consistency with his play. Baker will have to compete for the starting left tackle job during training camp but is the favorite for the job.

Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith said the team is comfortable with OT Sam Baker as their starting left tackle entering next season. "I thought Sam had his best year (in 2010). This (past) season, unfortunately, he got injured and had to have a procedure done and missed some time. We're looking forward to having Sam back.
