Long gave up a sack to Carolina Panthers DE Everette Brown Saturday, Aug. 22, and was beaten by Jacksonville Jaguars DE Quentin Groves last week.

His salary in 2009 has gone from $3.75 million to $6.5 million, from $4.5 million to $9 million in 2010, from $5.25 million to $10 million in 2011, from $6 million to $10 million in 2012 and from $6.75 million to $10.75 million in 2013.

"I'd be more than happy to accept that deal," Curry said.

Only two running plays were called to the left side. One was a rush by RB Ronnie Brown for no gain, and the other was a sweep to the left to RB Ricky Williams. Williams was forced to cut back to the right after the blocking broke down. Long said he felt comfortable on the field, but he said he has "a lot of things to work on."
