Previously, Street referred to Geren as "my least favorite person I have ever encountered in sports from age 6 to 27." Street upgraded his opinion of Geren to "a good man," and partly blamed their rocky relationship on himself. Street said he would approach Geren and talk it out with him if he were traded to the Mets.
