The Associated Press reports Seattle Mariners P Daniel Christensen was suspended 50 games Wednesday, Aug. 19, for testing positive under baseball's minor league drug program. He tested positive for the second time for a drug of abuse.

Kristen Zimmerman, of KansasCity.Royals.MLB.com, reports Kansas City Royals P Daniel Christensen has joined the Grand Canyon Rafters of the Arizona Fall League. Christensen replaces Royals SP Luke Hochevar (shoulder), who left the AFL Thursday, Oct. 26, with a shoulder strain.
