Wed, 28 Feb 2007 00:30:31 -0800 Updating a previous post, The Houston Chronicle is reporting the contracts signed Feb. 27 by Houston Astros P Matt Albers, P Jimmy Barthmaier, P Paul Estrada, P Lincoln Holdzkom, P Mark S. McLemore, OF Josh Anderson and IF Brooks Conrad calls for a major-league minimum salary of $380,000 if they reach the majors and at least $320,000 significantly less in the minors. Per the new collective bargaining agreement, Estrada and Conrad will be paid $30,000 in the minors as players in their first year on the 40-man roster. The other five players will get $60,000 in their second year on the 40-man roster.
