Cincinnati Reds P Luis Atilano and Boston Red Sox P Marco Duarte were both suspended 50 games Friday, June 22, after violating the minor league drug program. Atilano tested positive for the second time for a drug of abuse and Duarte tested positive for an amphetamine.

Washington Nationals SP Luis Atilano (elbow) will be placed on the 15-day disabled list with a sore right elbow, according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson. An MRI confirmed that Atilano has bone chips in his elbow. He will receive a cortisone shot and try to rehab his arm.
