The Minnesota Twins reassigned IF Matt B. Brown to minor league camp Friday, March 18, according to MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger.

The Minnesota Twins will invite SP Kyle Gibson, their 2009 first-round draft pick, to spring training. The Associated Press reports other invitees include P's Phil Dumatrait, Chuck James, Yorman Bazardo, Carlos Gutierrez and Kyle Waldrop; C's Jair Fernandez, Chris Herrmann, Steve Holm, Danny Lehmann, Danny Rams and Rene Rivera; IF's Matt B. Brown, Ray Chang, Brian Dozier, Justin Huber and Chase Lambin; and OF's Jeff Bailey and Brian Dinkelman.

Anthony Andro, of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, reports the Texas Rangers optioned C Max Ramirez to Triple-A Oklahoma City Thursday, April 1, and told IF Matt B. Brown that he will be the primary third baseman with Oklahoma City.
