Colorado Rockies OF Brad Hawpe reportedly cleared trade waivers Wednesday, Aug. 18, and his days in Colorado could be numbered, according to ESPN.com's Jayson Stark. The team is making it clear that they are willing to trade Hawpe to open up more playing time for 2B Eric Young Jr. However, the team is also considering designating Hawpe for assignment or releasing him.
