Wed, 02 Aug 2006 08:20:36 -0700 Dawn Klemish, of Detroit.Tigers.MLB.com, reports Detroit Tigers OF Alvaro Diaz was suspended 50 games Tuesday, Aug. 1, for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug. Diaz is the first player in the Tigers organization to be suspended for using performance-enhancing drugs.
