Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said the stay for RP Jesse Chavez is likely to be a brief one, as the team needs a starter this week for the injured SP Sean O'Sullivan (biceps). Chavez allowed two earned runs, three hits and a walk in an inning of relief Sunday, June 5, against the Minnesota Twins in his first appearance of the season.

SP Nathan Adcock will likely return to the rotation to take O'Sullivan's spot.
