St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo said RB Steven Jackson (finger) is considered day-to-day after undergoing surgery Monday, Oct. 25, on a fractured left ring finger, reports StLouisRams.com. The extent of the surgery is not known, but Jackson was able to play with the injury in week 7.
Fantasy Tip: The Rams play the Carolina Panthers in Week 8. If Jackson cannot go, look for Kenneth Darby and Keith Toston to share the workload. The Panthers have allowed 28.7 attempts for 139.3 rushing yards and 0.67 touchdowns per game to the position in the past month. Running backs have also averaged 4.33 receptions for 39.0 yards against Carolina in this time. Darby should be added in all formats and is available in 86 percent of leagues polled.
