Dave van Dyck, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the Los Angeles Dodgers traded C Sandy Alomar Jr. to the Chicago White Sox for Double-A P B.J. LaMura. A fifth-round pick in 2002, LaMura has 67 strikeouts in 53 innings overall and has struck out at least one batter in each of his 34 appearances.

Dave van Dyck, of the Chicago Tribune, reports the Chicago White Sox have acquired Los Angeles Dodgers C Sandy Alomar Jr. in exchange for Double-A P B.J. LaMura. Alomar is hitting .323 with nine RBI in 27 games this season.
