"Saw and talked to Plaxico Burress at the Super Bowl and he told me he wants to play for the Eagles. Badly!," Howard Eskin posted on his official Twitter account.

When asked if he was happy with how his year with the Jets went, Burress said, "It went as it went." Instead, he said, "I haven't entertained any of it."

Jacobs also said Burress would like to return to the Giants next year. "I don't see him back with the Jets next year at all," said Jacobs, who speaks with Burress regularly. "I don't know what he's thinking, but I don't see that. They've got a lot of things going on over there, and I don't know if he wants to be part of that." Burress reportedly has serious doubts about QB Mark Sanchez, too.

"He did a great job for us," Tannenbaum said. "I thought his blocking, he did a really good job with that. Obviously, he helped us in the red zone ... And he was a real pro. He's really an interesting guy and he was a really good teammate. Free agency is a couple of months away, and we'll look at everything."
