Louisiana State University head coach Les Miles has no interest in becoming the next head coach for the Miami Dolphins. "He wanted everyone to know that he is not interested in the Miami job," LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said. "He said he is full steam ahead for the national championship and not interested in any other job."

The Associated Press reports Louisiana State University QB Ryan Perrilloux was kicked off the team. Head coach Les Miles said Perrilloux did not fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete.

ESPN.com reports Louisiana State University said Friday, May 2, that head coach Les Miles kicked QB Ryan Perrilloux off the team. Perrilloux, who had been suspended three times in his college career, "didn't fulfill his obligation as an LSU student-athlete," Miles said. He did not offer details. Louisiana State added that Perrilloux is expected to finish out the spring semester at the school.

ESPN.com's Joe Schad reports LSU head coach Les Miles has agreed to a new five-year deal, through 2010, that will pay $1.65 million in 2006 and $1.8 million in 2007.
