Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the one-year contract signed by Pittsburgh Steelers TE Matt Cushing is worth $540,000 in base salary and includes a $25,000 signing bonus. Cushing's salary cap figure for 2005 will be $475,000 since there are league rules that allow veterans to earn more money than they count under the cap on certain one-year contracts.
