John Murphy, of Yahoo Sports, reports agent Joel Turner said he has fielded calls from 11 teams about his client, NFL Supplemental draft eligible WR Richard Washington. "Teams have told us he can play in the NFL, that he will be worth a look in someone's training camp," said Turner.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports former North Carolina State WR/RB Richard Washington, eligible for the July 13 NFL Supplemental Draft, recently worked out for NFL scouts. He was measured at 5-foot-10 7/8 and 164 pounds. He ran outdoors on grass in good conditions but there was a light rain. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 and 4.76. He also had a 1.55 and 1.59 in the 10-yard dash, 2.75 and 2.72 in the 20-yard dash, 29-inch vertical jump, 8-foot-6 long jump, 4.50 short shuttle, 12.77 long shuttle and 7.23 three-cone drill.

John Murphy, of Yahoo Sports, reports former North Carolina State WR Richard Washington is getting ready for the July 13 NFL Supplemental draft. Washington is a speedy but slightly built all-purpose threat who spent his North Carolina State career producing good numbers at wide receiver. The 5-11, 180-pound Washington, who was timed between 4.41 and 4.45 seconds in the 40 coming out of high school, was dismissed from N.C. State's program in February of 2005.

Joel E. Turner has confirmed to KFFL former NC State WR Richard Washington, who is entering the NFL's Supplemental Draft, will work out for NFL teams Saturday, July 8. One team has already committed to attending.
