Cincinnati Reds OFs Xavier Paul and Derrick Robinson may figure into the left field mix with OF Ryan Ludwick (shoulder) out for three months. Manager Dusty Baker said OF Chris Heisey will play every day and will get the opportunity to prove he belongs.

Fantasy Tip: Heisey is the only name that is fantasy relevant in this mix. Avery or Robinson could receive a start here or there to rest Heisey, but it's not enough to warrant fantasy baseball consideration, even in NL leagues.

The Cincinnati Reds recalled OF Derrick Robinson from the minors Wednesday, April 3.

Fantasy Tip: Robinson will purely serve as outfield depth off the bench and can be ignored in all formats.

Cincinnati Reds OF Ryan Ludwick (shoulder) will be out for three months after he undergoes shoulder surgery Wednesday, April 3. The team is expected to recall OF Derrick Robinson from the minors.

Fantasy Tip: Heisey will definitely be a popular target in deep mixed leagues if you need more outfield depth. It's unknown if he'll start in center and bump Shin-Soo Choo to left, though. Robinson can be ignored.

They include Ps Nick Christiani, Wilkin De La Rosa, Justin Freeman, Drew Hayes and Chad Rogers, Cs Nevin Ashley, Tucker Barnhart and Corky Miller, INFs Emmanuel Burriss, Cesar Izturis and Kris Negron and OFs Billy Hamilton, Ryan LaMarre, Denis Phipps and Derrick Robinson.

Kansas City Royals P Ryan Verdugo and C Adam Moore cleared waivers and were outrighted to Triple-A Omaha Friday, Nov. 30. OF Derrick Robinson cleared waivers but was not tendered a contract, making him a free agent.

The Kansas City Royals added Ps John Lamb, Mike Montgomery, Chris Dwyer, Donnie Joseph, Justin Marks and Juan Gutierrez to their 40-man roster Tuesday, Nov. 20, in order to protect them from the Rule 5 Draft. As a result, Ps Vin Mazzaro, Chris Volstad and Ryan Verdugo, Cs Brayan Pena and Adam Moore, 1B Clint Robinson and OF Derrick Robinson were designated for assignment. Backup C Brett Hayes reached a one-year, $600,000 deal Tuesday.

Updating a previous report, the Kansas City Royals signed C Manny Pina to a one-year, $480,425 contract Friday, Feb. 10. OF David Lough was signed for one-year, $480,000, 1B Clint Robinson will get one-year, 480,000, and OF Derrick Robinson will receive one-year and $480,000.
