Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans DE Ulrich Winkler (knee) has returned to the practice field this week. Winkler is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last year in training camp. He is not yet 100 percent healthy, but head coach Jeff Fisher acknowledged Winkler has worked hard as they push him through individual drills.

Jessica Hopp, of the Nashville Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans have been assigned DL Ulrich Winkler as part of the NFL's International Development Practice Squad Program. Winkler is a native of Germany and will remain on the Titans' practice squad for the entire season.
