The Cleveland Indians optioned SP Zach McAllister to Triple-A Columbus and recalled IF Juan Diaz from Double-A Akron. SP Josh Tomlin (wrist) is expected to return and start Monday, May 28.

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin (wrist) threw all his pitches in a 50-pitch simulated game Thursday, May 24. "He looked good," said manager Manny Acta. "He's expected to be fine."

Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin (wrist) is scheduled to throw a 50-pitch simulated game Sunday, May 27. He is not expected to make any rehab starts before being activated from the 15-day disabled list.

Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin (wrist) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, May 22. Manager Manny Acta said Tomlin "looked good", and that Tomlin will throw a simulated game in the next couple of days barring any discomfort Wednesday, May 23.

Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin (wrist) will play catch from a distance of 90 feet Saturday, May 18. His next step will be to throw from a distance of 105 feet. Tomlin is also scheduled to throw a bullpen session early next week.
