The Cleveland Indians have reinstated Ps Carlos Carrasco (elbow), Rafael Perez (shoulder) and Josh Tomlin (elbow) from the 60-day disabled list. Carrasco and Perez are both expected to be ready by spring training, although Perez is eligible for salary arbitration and could be non-tendered. Tomlin is expected to miss the entire 2013 season.

Cleveland Indians SP Josh Tomlin (elbow) will have season-ending elbow surgery to fix the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow Wednesday, Aug. 22. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Lewis Yocum.

SP Justin Masterson will take the ball first Friday, July 13, against the Toronto Blue Jays, followed by SP Ubaldo Jimenez Saturday, July 14, and SP Derek Lowe Sunday, July 15. SP Zach McAllister will open the series against the Tampa Bay Rays Monday, July 16, and SP Josh Tomlin will make his first post-break start Tuesday, July 17.
