Edgar Thompson, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins LB Joey Porter admitted that he and head coach Tony Sparano did not speak to each other after Porter was deactivated for a Nov. 15 game. Prior to Sparano's decision, Porter said the two had a great relationship, including texting or talking every day. Porter said he has not felt like he's been a part of the team ever since his benching. "The last seven, eight weeks was not fun for me," Porter said. "After the suspension, I had no fun. I'm sitting up there feeling like I'm an outcast on my own team. I'm a captain, but I'm not going to the captain meetings. He's not meeting with me anymore. How do you come back?"

Armando Salguero, of The Miami Herald, reports Miami Dolphins LB Joey Porter said during an appearance on "Romeo in the Morning" on Hot 94.1 in Bakersfield, Calif., last week that he did not want to return to the team in 2010. Porter told head coach Tony Sparano he was not happy with his number of snaps last season, or for being suspended for the team's game Nov. 15. Porter felt he was limited in his ability to do what he does best because he often found himself on the sideline rather than in the game.
