Fantasy Tip: This is the biggest penalty handed down by MLB. Kennedy would seem likely to miss only one start as long as the Snakes are creative with their rotation and schedule, and they have options to do so.

Kennedy cut his finger while doing the dishes, and he will instead be pushed back to Saturday, June 1, after the team's rainout this week. Fantasy Tip: The finger shouldn't be a big issue for Kennedy, so start him as you normally would this weekend. The extra rest could also benefit the hurler.

He will be replaced by SP Tyler Skaggs, who will be recalled from Triple-A Reno. Manager Kirk Gibson said the injury happened a few days ago and Kennedy attempted to throw a bullpen session while wearing a bandage Saturday, May 25. The team considered multiple options that would have allowed Kennedy to pitch, including glue, but eventually decided upon letting it heal on its own.
