Minnesota Twins OF Chris Parmelee (wrist) had a ganglion cyst removed from his right wrist in January, but he said he's feeling good. He's been able to swing in the cages without restrictions.

The Minnesota Twins recalled Ps Shairon Martis, Scott Diamond and Michael Tonkin, 2B Eduardo Escobar, OF Chris Parmelee and C Eric Fryer from the minors Monday, Sept. 9. In corresponding moves, SP Samuel Deduno (shoulder) and OF Wilkin Ramirez (leg) were moved to the 60-day disabled list.

Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said Sunday, July 21, that C Ryan Doumit will serve as the team's regular right fielder with OFs Oswaldo Arcia and Chris Parmelee both at Triple-A. Doumit is freed up to play outfield due to the presence of C Chris Herrmann, who will back up C Joe Mauer.
