Yankees | Chris Parmelee out for a while |
Sat, 11 Jun 2016 06:25:24 -0700
New York Yankees 1B Chris Parmelee (hamstring) is expected to be sidelined for at least one month because of a strained hamstring.
Fantasy Tip: Rob Refsnyder should continue to see most of the starts at first base for the time being. He has only one hit in his last eight games and should only be used in AL-only leagues at this point.

Yankees | Chris Parmelee to DL |
Fri, 10 Jun 2016 11:56:08 -0700
New York Yankees 1B Chris Parmelee (hamstring) was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a right hamstring strain Friday, June 10. RP Chad Green was recalled from Class AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move.
Fantasy Tip: The Yanks are dropping like flies with Mark Teixeira (knee) already on the DL. Rob Refsnyder probably benefits the most and could see playing time at first base alongside Austin Romine. Refsnyder is hitting only .208 (5-for-24) on the season, though, and he's limited offensively. Consider him only for depth in AL-only leagues.

Yankees | Nick Swisher could see action |
Thu, 09 Jun 2016 19:42:55 -0700
New York OF Nick Swisher and OF Ben Gamel are two potential candidates to replace 1B Chris Parmelee (hamstring).
Fantasy Tip: It remains to be seen how much time Parmelee will miss. Swisher could be worth a flier in AL-leagues, but with his best years well behind him, don't expect much.

Yankees | Chris Parmelee injures hamstring |
Thu, 09 Jun 2016 18:48:30 -0700
New York Yankees 1B Chris Parmelee (hamstring) had to be helped off the field against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Thursday, June 9, after injuring his hamstring stretching for a throw.
Fantasy Tip: Mark Teixeira is already sidelined, and if Parmelee has to miss time, Rob Refsnyder would likely see plenty of playing time, but he wouldn't be an appealing fantasy option.

Yankees | Chris Parmelee shines in victory |
Wed, 08 Jun 2016 22:06:18 -0700
New York Yankees 1B Chris Parmelee went 3-for-5 with a double, two home runs, three runs scored and three RBIs Wednesday, June 8, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
Fantasy Tip: With Mark Teixeira out at least a few more weeks, Parmelee and Rob Refsnyder will split the duties at first base. Both players are worth a look in deeper AL-only fantasy leagues and in DFS when starting.

Yankees | Chase Headley, Rob Refsnyder out |
Wed, 08 Jun 2016 14:00:22 -0700
New York Yankees 3B Chase Headley and 2B Rob Refsnyder are not in the starting lineup against Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Jered Weaver Wednesday, June 8. 1B Chris Parmelee will start at first base and is batting eighth, while INF Ronald Torreyes will start at third base and is batting ninth.
Fantasy Tip: Parmelee has not receive any at-bats since joining the team, so owners should avoid him for the time being. Torreyes is hitting .269 in limited playing time this season but is not a great fantasy option.
