Baltimore Orioles OF Travis Snider draws back into the lineup Saturday, May 2, against the Tampa Bay Rays. Snider replaces OF Delmon Young and will hit sixth in the order and start in right field.
Fantasy Tip: Snider ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) will face right-hander Chris Archer of Tampa Bay, but he has dramatic reverse splits to open the season. Snider is hitting .500 of lefties and just .220 off right-handers to open the 2015 season. Snider will have the potential to drive in some runs, with Chris Davis and Steve Pearce batting immediately ahead of him. Snider and his moderate price make for a decent FantasyScore option, but it's not the typical righty vs. lefty scenario it seems like at first glance.

Baltimore Orioles OF Delmon Young is back in the third spot in the batting order and is starting in right field against Chicago White Sox SP Jeff Samardzija Wednesday, April 29. OF Travis Snider is on the bench yet again.
Fantasy Tip: Travis Snider continues to lose playing time to Young ($2,600, 5.2% of cap), who is hitting .391 (9-for-23) with five RBI since April 19. Young may not be worth the cheap price at FantasyScore today, though, while facing Samardzija. Snider, after a hot start, has just five hits and three RBI since April 19. With inconsistent playing time, he's not worth a roster spot in shallow mixed leagues.

Baltimore Orioles OF Travis Snider is not in the starting lineup against the Chicago White Sox Monday, April 27.
Fantasy Tip: Make sure to remove Snider ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) from your lineups Monday, and it is worth noting he didn't play Sunday, April 26, either. He is currently mired in a 1-for-11 funk, after starting the season with a .325 batting average through his first 40 at-bats.

Baltimore Orioles OF Travis Snider is not in the starting lineup against the Boston Red Sox Friday, April 24. OF/DH Delmon Young is starting in right field and batting sixth Friday.
Fantasy Tip: Make sure to remove Snider from your fantasy lineups Friday. He is off to a nice start (.304 batting average, seven runs and nine RBI) and should be owned in all deep mixed and AL-only leagues. Young ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has been a better hitter against left-handed hurlers during his career, and should be viewed as nothing more than a low-priced flier in FantasyScore contests Friday.

Baltimore Orioles OF Travis Snider hit his second spring homer Thursday, April 2.
Fantasy Tip: Snider ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is a post-hype sleeper in his first year with the Orioles. Last year, he had a solid second half with the Pirates and is now in a position to be an everyday outfielder with his new club. Snider is a late-round target in mixed leagues with big power upside.
