John Murphy, of Yahoo Sports, reports Iowa State DE/LB Jason Berryman has been officially approved for the July 13 NFL supplemental draft, according to the league's player personnel office. His workout for NFL scouts was completed Tuesday, June 13.

John Murphy, of Yahoo Sports, reports Green Bay Packers director of college scouting John Dorsey, who conducted the workout, was among the NFL representatives at the Pro Day workout of DE/LB Jason Berryman (Iowa State) Tuesday, June 13. Berryman is eligible for the July 13 supplemental draft.

John Murphy, of Yahoo Sports, reports DE/LB Jason Berryman (Iowa State) eligible for the July 13 NFL supplemental draft, held his Pro Day at the school's campus last Tuesday, June 13, in Ames, Iowa. He ran between 4.72 and 4.78 seconds in the 40 and also registered times of 4.48 in the short shuttle and 7.38 in the three-cone drills. Berryman also jumped 32 inches in the vertical and 9-11 in the broad and did 17 reps at 225 pounds. He measured in at 6-1, 235 pounds. A number of teams were in attendance, including Green Bay Packers director of college scouting John Dorsey, who conducted the workout.

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins will do their usual homework on three linebacker prospects available in the NFL's supplemental draft July 13. LBs Ahmad Brooks (Virginia), Jason Berryman (Iowa State) and David Dixon (Hutchinson Community College) are the three most notable players in the draft. Head coach Nick Saban said, "''We'll do our homework on all of them as we would with any player who was going through the regular draft. But we're not going to compromise our principles and values just because we might have a need at that position."
