St. Louis Rams CB Bradley Fletcher (knee) was placed on the Injured Reserve List Thursday, Oct. 29. He underwent surgery to fix the lateral meniscus cartilage in his knee Tuesday, Oct. 27, and will have additional surgery in roughly a month to repair the anterior cruciate ligament. CB Quincy Butler looks like the likely replacement for Fletcher. Fletcher may not be ready for the start of the 2010 season.

According to Billy Devaney, the Rams' executive vice president of player personnel, St. Louis is "looking for some bigger people across the board," and Butler fits the profile.
