Reds | Johnny Cueto finally shows he's human

Wed, 21 May 2014 08:31:36 -0700

Cincinnati Reds SP Johnny Cueto allowed six hits and eight runs (six earned) while striking out six in 5 1/3 innings to the Washington Nationals Tuesday, May 20, in a loss. It was the first time this year that Cueto had failed to allow less than two runs, less than five hits or go at least seven innings. It was his shortest start since September of last year, and his most runs allowed since September of 2010. Cueto's ERA rose from 1.25 to 1.86.

Fantasy Tip: There shouldn't be anything to worry about. Cueto finally ran into a rough start. It happens. Continue to run him out there every five days as your fantasy ace.
