Updating previous stories, Bob Brookover, reports for the Philadelphia Inquirer, free agent TE Chad Lewis (Eagles) wants to keep playing in 2005, preferably for the Philadelphia Eagles. Lewis suffered a severe Lisfranc sprain of his right foot in last season's playoffs and he subsequently underwent surgery. Lewis has not gone through an extensive rehabilitation this off-season simply to call it a career. "It has been a long process, and everything is going real well," Lewis said recently. "The whole rehab has gone well. I've worked extremely hard this off-season. I had two goals and they were to spend as much time as I possibly could with my family and to get my body 100 percent healthy." Despite having four tight ends on the roster, the Eagles should have room for Lewis. It is believed the Eagles are waiting to see how Lewis comes through his rehabilitation before making any decision. Lewis added he still has a lot of work to do to complete his rehabilitation.
