ESPN.com reports the Philadelphia Eagles fired a stadium operations worker for criticizing his employer in a Facebook post, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Dan Leone, who the Inquirer said worked as a west gate chief, was unhappy the team allowed S Brian Dawkins to sign with the Denver Broncos. Leone deleted the comment, but the team still fired him by phone days later.

The Denver Broncos have officially announced the signing of S Brian Dawkins (Eagles). Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it is believed to be a five-year, $17 million deal with $7.2 million guaranteed.
