Eagles | Tender Offers

Sun, 17 Feb 2002 18:35:42 -0800

Mark Eckel of the Trenton Times reports for the Sporting News the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to give G Doug Brzezinski and WR Na Brown the minimum tender offer of close to $600,000. S Damon Moore, who would have gotten more, but tore his ACL in the NFC Championship Game is likely to get the same offer. The team faces tougher decisions on FB Cecil Martin and projected starting SS Rashard Cook. If both are low-tendered the Eagles would only receive a sixth-round draft pick as compensation. The first-round tender of $1.2 million might be too high for either player.
