Toronto Blue Jays RP Casey Janssen will take over as the interim closer until RP Sergio Santos (shoulder) returns from the disabled list. RPs Jason Frasor, Darren Oliver and Luis Perez will serve in middle relief, and RP Francisco Cordero will fill in where needed.

Fantasy Tip: Janssen should be added in the short term if you're hurting for saves at this juncture, but keep in mind that Santos will probably be back in another two to three weeks - he resumed throwing yesterday - unless he suffers a setback. Cordero can safely be dropped in most leagues.

Toronto Blue Jays RP Casey Janssen signed a two-year contract extension earlier in the week, and he said he is excited about the future. "I was really looking forward to this year, as any other year, but at the same time, once (GM Alex Anthopoulos) started contacting me about a chance at a multi-year (deal), then I got excited about the Toronto Blue Jays and the future," Janssen said. He enters the 2012 season as the longest-tenured Blue Jays player.
