Rick Stroud and Stephen Holder, of the St. Petersburg Times, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been pleased with QB Jay Davis, who was brought in to play in the team's rookie minicamp. Davis, at times, outplayed the team's sixth-round draft pick, QB Bruce Gradkowski, and head coach Jon Gruden did not rule out the possibility of having Davis join the team in training camp.

CSTV.com reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are giving undrafted rookie free agent QB Jay Davis (North Carolina State) a tryout at their rookie minicamp this weekend.
