Giants | Carroll adjusting well to linebacker

During his press conference, New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said LB Thomas Carroll has handled the switch from defensive end to linebacker really well. Coughlin added, "He can run that young man can run. We can use him as an end as well, so we're going to do some of that in the pass-rush situation."

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Miami DL Thomas Carroll measured a height of 6-3 5/8 and a weight of 239 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash with times of 4.86 seconds and 4.93 seconds while finishing the short shuttle in 4.24 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.92 seconds. He measured a 33-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-3 broad jump while completing 15 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
