There is a chance the Minnesota Vikings move OT Charlie Johnson to guard next season. There are some within the organization that feel he is best suited for that position. "Obviously the team is going to do what they feel is best for the team. My opinion, I'm not going to sit here and say another guy is needed or anything," Johnson said Monday, Jan. 2. "I feel like the group that we have now can get the job done."

The Minnesota Vikings might move OT Charlie Johnson from left tackle to left guard, while having C Joe Berger and OL Brandon Fusco compete for the starting right guard spot. The team might fill their glaring hole at left tackle through the NFL Draft, perhaps with Southern California OT Matt Kalil.

"Charlie's been a little banged up and so is Hutch a little bit," head coach Leslie Frazier said.
