The Washington Nationals reassigned Ps J.D. Martin, Luis Atilano and Josh Wilkie; Cs Carlos Maldonado and Jhonathan Solano; IF Michael Aubrey and Kevin Barker and OFs Jeff Frazier and Jonathan Van Every to Triple-A Syracuse Friday, March 11, according to The Washington Post's Adam Kilgore. Ps Garrett Mock and Adam Carr were also optioned to Syracuse.

The Washington Nationals signed free-agent 1B Kevin Barker (Reds) and re-signed P J.D. Martin to minor league deals Friday, Feb. 4, according to The Washington Post's Adam Kilgore. They will both receive invites to Spring Training.
