Former NFL CB Bobby Taylor is working out and has told current and former players that he is trying to make a comeback to the league, a source told Brad Biggs, of NationalFootballPost.com. He would like to work out for teams and will be sending videos to teams. Taylor said he is looking for a team in need of a third or fourth cornerback and is also willing a move to safety. Taylor has not played in the NFL since 2004.

Jason Cole, of the Miami Herald, reports free agent CB Terrell Buckley (Jets) is staying in shape waiting for another opportunity with an NFL team. The Miami Dolphins haven't called despite a need for talent in the secondary. "I haven't heard anything from the Dolphins," said Buckley, who still lives in South Florida. The 14-year veteran is hoping to catch on with a team for another year or two before retiring for good. With Dolphins' nickel CB Reggie Howard continuing to struggle, there has been plenty of talk around the team about finding someone more experienced, such as Buckley or free agent CB Bobby Taylor (Seahawks).

Todd Rosiak, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers could have a slight interest in free agent CB Bobby Taylor (Seahawks), but they won't be setting up a visit with him any time soon. "He still can play a little bit, but he's slowed down a little bit," director of pro personnel Reggie McKenzie said of Taylor.

Mike Sando, of the Tacoma News Tribune, reports the Seattle Seahawks saved more than $3 million in salary cap space by releasing WR Koren Robinson and CB Bobby Taylor earlier today. It puts the team in better position to sign draft choices and a veteran free agent.

Mike Sando, reports for the Sporting News, the Seattle Seahawks are expected to release CB Bobby Taylor (knee) after June 1. His knee issues and his high salary make him a prime candidate to be gone. The Seahawks will need his salary cap savings to sign their rookies.
