CB Josh Gordy might also be active, and he has played four games in the NFL. CB Brian Jackson was signed Monday, Oct. 10, and he played mostly on special teams last season with the New York Giants. "So somewhere in there, we're going to have to find us two corners, obviously to play in the base package," head coach Steve Spagnuolo said. Harris reported to the team's headquarters to finish his rehab. Harris said, "It's the best place for me to finish up my rehab at this time of the year. It's best for me to be here with the guys, taking advantage of the facilities and the expertise in the training room here." It is not known exactly when Harris will be able to return. Head coach Mike McCarthy has not ruled Harris out for the regular-season opener, but he also acknowledged that Harris could start the year on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

McCarthy compared Harris' timetable to OT Mark Tauscher, who had a similar injury in December 2008 and did not return until November 2009. Harris is expected to make a full recovery for next season, and he has vowed to make a complete return in time for the start of the 2010 season.
