Aaron Wilson, of National Football Post, reports the Houston Texans worked out six free-agent linebackers Tuesday, Oct. 6. Among the participants were free-agent LBs Thomas Williams (Seahawks), Leon Williams (Browns), LB Torrance Daniels (Eagles) and LB Kris Griffin (Browns), according to a league source. The Texans are expected to sign LB Thomas Williams to their practice squad.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Harding S Torrance Daniels measured a height of 6-3 3/4 and a weight of 248 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash twice with a time of 4.68 seconds and finished the short shuttle in 4.32 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.72 seconds. He measured a 31 1/2-inch vertical jump and a 9-foot-9 broad jump while completing 20 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
