Redskins.com reports the Washington Redskins have invited undrafted rookie free agent WR Brian Carter (Texas) for a tryout at this weekend's minicamp.

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Texas WR Brian Carter worked out at his team's Pro Day Wednesday, March 22, and measured in with a height of 5-10 5/8 and a weight of 185 pounds. Carter ran the 40-yard dash in a time of 4.59 and 4.62 seconds, had a 38-inch vertical jump, a 4.05 short shuttle, an 7.24 three-cone drill, a 10-5 long jump and 18 lifts.
