Colorado Rockies hitting coach Dante Bichette is keeping it simple with the team's hitters this year, and he is emphasizing some fundamentals of hitting - grinding out at-bats, the leadoff hitter reaching base consistently, moving runners up, scoring runners from third base and hitting with two strikes. "His lack of teaching has been the most influential," SS Troy Tulowitzki said. "He keeps it simple. It's a free, easy approach. Be who you are. He reminds you that you are a heck of a player, just keep things sharp. That's great for me because I am a perfectionist."
