Steve King, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports former NFL OG Orlando Bobo has died at the age of 33, according to reports. Bobo was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the expansion draft and played with the team in 1999. KFFL sends their condolences to his family and friends.

As an update to a previous story, Len Pasquarelli reports for ESPN.com Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Tice has all but decided to move C Matt Birk to left tackle, the position where rookie Bryant McKinnie was penciled in as the starter. Backup OL Cory Withrow will slide in at center, creating another opening for an interior blocker, a hole that newly signed OL Orlando Bobo will fill.

The AP reports the Minnesota Vikings will bring in free agent OL Orlando Bobo and DB Anthony Midget for tryouts. The team has two open roster spots.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens C Mike Flynn had his right hand examined by a specialist Monday after tearing a ligament during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The injury doesn’t appear to be serious and Flynn is expected to play this Sunday. Flynn will probably need some surgery in the off-season, but Head coach Brian Billick said that Flynn is not in danger of damaging it further. Billick said that Flynn is not having any problems gripping the ball, but will be switched from center to guard if he is having problems. Orlando Bobo or Casey Rabach will play at center if Flynn is switched from center to guard.

The Baltimore Sun reports Baltimore Ravens LG Edwin Mulitalo was downgraded from probable to questionable with a knee injury. "He's got some swelling in there," trainer Bill Tessendorf said. "We downgraded him because he didn't practice. If he feels good, we'll increase his activity." If he is unable to play, Kipp Vickers or Orlando Bobo would replace him. DE Rob Burnett (calf) and TE Todd Heap (ankle) remain questionable for Sunday and DE Michael McCrary and DT Tony Siragusa (respiratory) remain probable. For the second straight day, those four players did not practice in the non-padded workout, but Burnett and McCrary participated in the walkthrough session.

The Washington Post reports the Baltimore Ravens have signed OL Orlando Bobo and released undrafted free agent CB Delvin Hughley. He was just signed over the weekend.
