Giants.MLB.com's Rich Draper reports San Francisco Giants minor league OF Eddy Martinez-Esteve (foot) saw his 2006 season hindered by injuries and was able to play in only 27 games for Double-A Connecticut last year. Prior to that he had hit .312 over his first three seasons as a pro.

San Francisco Giants OF Eddy Martinez-Esteve (foot), who is rehabbing from right foot surgery due to an excised sesamoid bone, is doing well during training camp, according to Rich Draper of Giants.MLB.com. "All reports have been excellent, and we're hoping he'll be ready for the Minor League campaign," said trainer Stan Conte.
