Fri, 30 May 2014 06:08:16 -0700

Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Martin Prado is being more aggressive at the plate as he works to break out of a slump. Heading into his game Thursday, May 29, he was batting .339 with 14 RBI over his last 17 contests. "I wasn't trusting my hands," he said. "I felt like I was drifting a bit with my front leg and when that happens, you don't trust your hands. You don't have confidence to hit the ball inside, to hit the ball outside."

Fantasy Tip: Prado also said his mother told him, while she was watching one of his games, that he was standing too close to home plate. Though he didn't agree, it was probably a good wake-up call anyway.
