Oakland Raiders PK Sebastian Janikowski was ordered by a Superior Court judge in California to attend anger management and substance abuse classes and perform 30 hours of community service, stemming from a 2010 incident at a nightclub involving a woman.

Oakland Raiders PK Sebastian Janikowski lined up for a 65-yard field goal, which would have been an NFL record, as time expired in Week 15 against the Detroit Lions. However, Lions DL Ndamukong Suh blocked the attempt to preserve victory for the visitors. Janikowski did boot two field goals, including a 51-yard make, while adding three extra points.

Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said he expects PK Sebastian Janikowski (hamstring) to play in Week 13 despite missing practice Wednesday, Nov. 30. "Hopefully we'll get him back out here soon. He'll be fine. I told you, I'm always going to be cautious with these players. We got some big games down the stretch here," Jackson said.

Oakland Raiders head coach Hue Jackson credited PK Sebastian Janikowski and P Shane Lechler for the team's Week 12 win. Janikowski had six field goals in the game, while Lechler's punting, in part, played a role in limiting WR Devin Hester. "That's the reason why Shane Lechler and SeaBass are on this team," Jackson said. "Because those guys are phenomenal. They're phenomenal at what they do, they're the best in the league at what they do. We had to call on them today so many times, and they just kept answering the bell."
