Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger met with offensive coordinator Todd Haley several times this offseason and had a lot of input into what worked and what did not last season. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders said Haley is giving Roethlisberger more control at the line of scrimmage in terms of check downs and hot reads.
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger was playing well before his injury last season but did not look completely comfortable with Haley's offense. He lost Mike Wallace this offseason, and Heath Miller's (knee) availability for Week 1 is uncertain, which hurts his value. He should be seen as a weak No. 2 quarterback entering drafts.

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley made some lofty demands when he met with the Arizona Cardinals for their head coaching position last week, making him unlikely to get the job. Haley apparently did this because he's happy in his role with the Steelers and doesn't want to leave unless he has an offer he can't pass up.

The Pittsburgh Steelers did not make the playoffs this season with an 8-8 record, the team's worst record in the past six years; however, owner Art Rooney II gave a vote of confidence to head coach Mike Tomlin and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. "I think Mike did a good job," Rooney said. "I certainly still have a high level of confidence in Mike. I know he is working as hard as he can already, just to figure out how we can get back on the right track." As for Haley, the owner said the offense functioned at a pretty high level and was hurt by the absence of QB Ben Roethlisberger due to injury.
